We’re delighted to share one of our latest projects that is nearing completion – The Pines, that’s located in the heart of the hightly desirable area of Alwoodley, Leeds. This is major architect designed, back to brick rennovation and extension project in West Yorkshire.
In the heart of Alwoodley, Leeds, this once-tired family home is being reimagined through a bold architectural transformation. The brief — to revitalise a dated property and create something genuinely special — called for a design that balances character with contemporary refinement.
The architectural composition celebrates red brick as the primary material, maintaining a sense of warmth and permanence. Black brick detailing and charred timber accents are introduced to create depth and visual contrast, defining a confident yet understated palette.
Inside
Internally, the reconfiguration focuses on openness and flow. Split-level living spaces on the ground floor establish a strong connection between the house and the soon-to-be landscaped gardens, allowing natural light and views to play a key role in shaping the experience of each space.
Above, the remodel introduces two new bedroom levels, including feature rooms within the converted roof space. This inventive approach maximises the potential of the existing structure while adding a sense of vertical rhythm to the internal
